    • ØSwimmers need to be at the pool by 4:30pm.
    • ØBring a chair, extra set of goggles, extra towel, TEAM spirit, Good Sportsmanship*.
    • ØOfficials meeting at 5:45pm.
    • ØAll parents and swimmers need to help clean up before leaving the pool deck, no matter when you leave. Please make sure that you have your personal items and have thrown away any trash in your area. Thank you!

    *Parents, please remind ALL swimmers there is to be no pushing, hitting or foul language at any time during the meet, especially once the swimmers are at the Clerk of Course.

    Parking

    Zebulon families are asked to park at 8921 Pippin Road Wakelon Elementary/ballfields and walk to the pool. We are saving the parking lot for our visiting team. You can drop off your swimmer, chair, etc. at the pool, park and then walk back to the pool. There is NO STREET PARKING allowed in the subdivision. The committee has been told that those who elect to do so may be towed.

    We are only allowed to use this pool for meets so please help us take extra care to keep the facility in the best condition.

    Set Up at Pool

    Seating is very limited, so please bring chairs. Please remember no glass, no smoking of any kind including e-cig/vape, no alcohol. We will have us, the home team, sitting on the FAR SIDE if the pool. This is a change from last year. We are always in need of extra hands to help with meet set up. If you are able we will begin this process at 4 pm.

    Concessions

    Water will be available for purchase at our concession stand.

    Food will be available from the Frostbite food truck which will be located outside of the pool facility.

    Warm Ups

    Our team warm ups will begin at 5:00pm. Please have your swimmer ready to enter the water at 4:45pm: suit on, cap on, goggles with them, have seen coach for initials on their arm.

    Officials Meeting

    The officials meeting will be held at 5:45pm near the flag pole. Officials who need to attend this meeting include: Starter/Announcer, Kid Pushers, Place Judges, Recorder, Stroke and Turn Judges, Runners and Timers. Clerk of Course will have their own meeting to combine races, when able, to keep the meet running smoothly.

    Butterfly for 6-and-Unders

    We welcome any 6-and-unders willing to swim a butterfly heat. We will be giving little treats to these little swimmers who do the whole 25 yards.

    Parent/Coaches Freestyle Relay

    We invite parents to join the coaches to form a team or maybe two! This relay is done at the conclusion of the meet to give the scorers time to calculate the final score.

    At the conclusion of the meet we like to have a team High Five before the final score is read.

    Thanks to everyone for their assistance with the meet. The meets DO NOT happen without assistance from parents!

    Practices & Swim Meets

    All morning & evening practices will be held at the 

    Zebulon Country Club - 2424 Pearces Rd, Zebulon.

    Evening practice schedule is as follows: 

    • ages 6 & under   6:15-7:00pm 
    • ages 7-10            7:00-8:00pm 
    • ages 11 & up       8:00-9:00pm 

    Morning practices are for all ages and will run 7:45-8:45am Monday-Friday starting Monday June 11th, 2018.

    All home swim meets will be held at the Weaver's Pond Subdivison Pool.
