TSA Meet Final Information

    TSA Update!

    Please READ it to the end and share with your families!

    Has your team volunteered yet and/or signed up for a Hospitality item. ALL teams are asked to help TSA host this meet and there are still A LOT of open positions. It take EVERYONE!

    Attached is a timeline of the meet for planning only!! It should not be looked at as exact!!

    ALL PARKING WILL BE IN THE MALL PARKING LOT; THERE IS NO DROP-OFF.

    Coach Check-in starts at 6:30 am each morning. To make this run quickly and smoothly,

    you should have turned in all your team waivers and the meet payment. You will receive a

    Team Packet containing your Coach deck passes, heat sheets and your Clerk of Course cards

    for the 10 & Under session with the Kid Pusher instructions. Also attached are the Warmup assignments and they will be posted around the pool. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Teams should gather in the front parking lot. As soon as you have checked in, your team may line up around the side of the building and side parking lot. ALL Swimmers, coaches, officials and volunteers will enter the facility from the outside, lower deck level entrance. Coaches and volunteers MUST be wearing CORRECT wristbands to gain entry.

    AT NO TIME WILL ANYONE OTHER THAN THESE INDIVIDUALS BE PERMITTED ON DECK.

    No exit is permitted from the deck level doors.

    The front doors to the facility will open at 7am each day for Spectators. NO ONE will be permitted in the

    facility prior to this time. At the conclusion of the morning sessions, the spectator seating area will be completely emptied and closed. PARENTS MUST MEET THEIR SWIMMERS OUTSIDE, NOT IN THE LOBBY!.

    No one will be permitted to stay behind. Any items left inside the area will be discarded.

    Spectator seating will re-open to the public at 12:30 for the afternoon sessions.

    Heat sheet sales will take place outside from 6:30-7:15 and then move inside to the spectator seating area from 7:15-9am. For the second session; sales will take place outside from 12- 1:15pm and inside the spectator seating area from 1:15pm-2:30pm.

    Heat sheets will be $5 CASH (EXACT CHANGE PLEASE) - PLEASE share this with your families.

    There are absolutely NO outside chairs or coolers permitted in the spectator seating area – NO EXCEPTIONS.

    Fire codes prohibit any standing in the aisles. As in prior years, the 2 front rows in the spectator seating area will be RESERVED for temporary viewing only while your swimmer is competing.

    Please remember that this is a swim meet for your children and should be a fun family activity. The facility will not tolerate any verbal or physical harassment, foul or abusive language, and abuse or misuse of TAC property. In the event of facility abuse, violators will be financially responsible for damages and losses. All violators will be asked to immediately leave the premises and not permitted to re-enter.

    These are the check-in and meeting times for the team coaches, volunteers, officials, timers:

    MORNING SESSIONS:

    6:30 am Coach and Kid Pusher check-in starts - make sure you have any missing payments or waivers with you

    6:45 am Teams may line up at the lower pool door after their coach has checked in

    7:00 am Coaches, Kid Pushers and swimmers may enter the pool

    7:00 am All other team volunteers can start checking in - All volunteers will enter the pool by the lower pool doors.

    7:00 am Doors to the Spectator area open - Remember, the first 2 rows of the bleachers are RESERVED for event viewing

    7:30 - 8:15 am Warm ups

    7:45 am Officials' meeting in the lower level classroom

    8:15 am Timers' meeting in the lower level classroom

    8:15 am Coaches' meeting in the upper level hospitality area

    8:30 am MEET STARTS!

    AFTERNOON SESSIONS:

    12:30 pm Coach check-in starts - make sure you have any missing payments or waivers with you

    12:45 pm Coaches and swimmers may line up at the lower pool door and enter the pool

    12:45 pm All other team volunteers can start checking in - All volunteers will enter the pool by the lower pool doors.

    1:00 pm Doors to the Spectator area open - Remember, the first 2 rows of the bleachers are RESERVED for event viewing

    1:00 - 1:45 pm Warm ups

    1:15 pm Officials' meeting in the lower level classroom

    1:30 pm Timers' meeting in the lower level classroom

    2:00 pm MEET STARTS!

    Practices & Swim Meets

    All morning & evening practices will be held at the 

    Zebulon Country Club - 2424 Pearces Rd, Zebulon.

    Evening practice schedule is as follows: 

    • ages 6 & under   6:15-7:00pm 
    • ages 7-10            7:00-8:00pm 
    • ages 11 & up       8:00-9:00pm 

    Morning practices are for all ages and will run 7:45-8:45am Monday-Friday starting Thursday June 13th, 2019.

    All home swim meets will be held at the Weaver's Pond Subdivison Pool.
