Happy Sunday Dolphin Families,

I'm not sure how we got here so soon, but here we are-

Please see information below for our LAST SWIM MEET of the season at Hawthorne Stingrays on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026.

**Please make sure you have declared your swimmer on Swimtopia no later than Monday morning!**

Location: Hawthorne Stingrays- 12309 Whartons Way, Raleigh, NC 27613

Parking: They have a decent sized parking lot, but if they run out of spots you may park on N Hawthorne Way along the pool and parking lot. They kindly ask that no one parks in the yards or in front of the neighbors around the pool. There should be plenty of space in the lot and on either street adjacent to the pool.

Facility: Our team will be sitting on the far side of the pool, near the diving well. They have a fairly large deck, so there should not be a concern about packing it in too much. I'm still waiting to hear back from them in regard to seating and shade, and if we need to bring chairs and/or tents. I'll send a clarifying message out in Band ASAP.

Concessions: They will have concessions open and will be grilling burgers and hot dogs. They will also have pizza from Schianos for sale along with a variety of other goodies, so feel free to arrive hungry :)

Warmups: As the away team, we will need to be in the pool for warm-up from 5:30-6:00, so please arrive by 5:15pm.

Volunteering: The volunteering link on the schedules tab is available NOW. There are still a couple positions open, so please look to see where you're able to assist! If you have not signed up to work a meet, please do so- each family is required to volunteer for AT LEAST three meets!

Bonus Events (If time permits)

6 & Under Butterfly Heat: 6 & unders can attempt to swim the butterfly stroke the full 25 yards for a special cupcake treat!

Coaches/Parent Relay: If time permits, they are requesting to do a parent/coaches relay! The kids love to see their parents rising to the challenge. Bring your swimsuits!
